SkinPen® Precision
SkinPen® Precision is a global multi-award-winning system by Crown Aesthetics that uses “collagen induction therapy”. It is the first approved micro-needling device and procedure in the world with a CE mark, an FDA-Clearance, an I.S.O. certification, and recognized by the Australian TGA making it globally authorized and safe to use.
How does SkinPen® Precision work?
SkinPen® is a medical-grade, state-of-the-art advanced micro-needling device. The device uses 14 medical steel 32 gauge (very slightly wider than a hair) needles working at a rate of 7,000 RPM in a self-contained cartridge that avoids cross-contamination between others.
SkinPen® allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair as its mechanical device creates thousands of precise micro-injuries in the dermis, and this intrusion signals an injury response in the skin cells causing them to go into a healing response which causes cell proliferation, thus triggering new collagensynthesis without causing scar tissue formation.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?
The number of treatment sessions depends on the patient’s priorities, and it can range between 1 to 6 sessions. Your provider will advise you on how many sessions you will have during the consultation, depending on the severity of your conditions and goals.
Are there any side effects?
Dryness, tightness, redness, and discomfort might be experienced after the treatment. These symptoms will start to subside after one to two hours and will normally recover within the same day with only slight redness the following day. Your skin will look fresher within four weeks and will continue to improve over 6-12 months.
